Platform update

Release notes: rate-shop fallback and connector expansion

The 2026.06 release focuses on routing resilience and connector coverage. As always, these notes describe what the platform now does for a client, not how it does it.

Rate-shop fallback

Parcel routing now quotes additional carriers as fallbacks when the primary spine is constrained, so a parcel that would have waited on a single carrier now re-solves across more options at dispatch. For clients on the parcel program, this shows up as steadier delivered pricing during capacity crunches, with the same governed audit on every routing decision.

Connector coverage

Several new carrier and marketplace connectors moved into production this cycle. The connector architecture adds these without custom code per integration, so coverage expands without touching the routing logic clients depend on. New connections inherit the same validation gating and audit behavior as existing ones.

Governance unchanged

Nothing in this release changes the gate model. Material decisions still stop at human approval, every action still lands in the audit, and the customs boundary is still gated on label purchase for international lanes. The improvements are underneath the same governance the platform has always enforced.

Built on the Kernel X governed runtime.
